This year's conference theme is Multiple Pathways to Literacy. The Conference West is held from February 21-25, 2009. The Conference North Central is held from May 3 -7, 2009. Our session title is Engaging Teachers and Students in Interactive Technologies as Pathways to Literacy.

Margaret Drew is an Associate Professor of Curriculum & Instruction/Reading. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate students. Her favorite topics are literacy assessment, support strategies, and teacher training. *** Pat Thompson is an Assistant Professor and Middle School Program Coordinator. She is interested in content area literacy, written communication, and young adult literature. *** Linda Heeler teaches fifth and sixth grades at Horace Mann Laboratory School on the Northwest Missouri State University campus. Her interests include: using technology to enhance her students' learning environment, reading, and grandchildren.
